Scott likes to refer to his food as “exceptional generic”. What makes things great? What are the things that bring people joy and comfort? How does one create an experience that appeals to everyone? Those are all things that built the locally and nationally acclaimed Little Miss BBQ serving some of this country’s best barbecue since 2014. Additionally, that is the basis for Scott and Bekke Holmes newest creation Full Speed Chicken and Ribs opening in March 2024 in downtown Phoenix on Roosevelt Row.
A competitive obsession can be good and it can be bad. Scott has used food to try and steer his inner tendencies towards incredible food. It starts with the question of what great is and progresses into what is the standard, what is known and unknown, what makes an incredibly great product vs one that isn’t, etc. It’s a never ending puzzle and journey and hopefully there is never an end to the discovery.
Scott is a proud husband to an incredible wife who is his business partner, a father to an amazing daughter and son and strives to be a good influence with his team, in the community, and at his church.
