Bernie Kantak

Chef & partner of Citizen Public House and The Gladly, Bernie Kantak’s well-traveled comfort food doesn’t shy away from outside-the-box combinations and playful presentations. Bernie has showcased his talents at The James Beard House as well as had his recipes highlighted in Bon Appetit and Food & Wine Magazine. Perhaps his most well-known dish precedes him, The Original Chopped Salad is an often-imitated recipe that has amassed culinary fans across the globe.
