ABOUT THE CHEF
Laura Gonzalez & Raul Vargas
A Duo Culinary masters coming together. we are PRIKLY two chefs from the Valley who inspire to grow and show our amazing food to everyone.
Laura was born in Sonora, Mexico and she was raised in San Luis, Arizona, with dreams to move out from that very small city and pursue her career in the capital of Arizona, Phoenix.
Her journey started at the Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute and ever since then she has worked her way from prep cook to General Manager and Restaurant Chef. Her experience has led her onto Food Network’s Chopped, ultimately helping her to step out of her comfort and expand on her passion and intentions in cooking.
She pushes her professional boundaries to explore outside of her everyday realm which is crucial to enhancing her culinary abilities. Throughout this experience, she has strengthened her knowledge and experience that is outside of her own.
Raul’s goal is to create a memorable experience for you and your guest.
And it is clear this is the reason behind his artistic composition of each and every dish that comes out of his kitchen. His love for travel is what inspires him most. A chef hailing from the Valley, his journey these past 15 years in the industry took him from Arizona to California and back.
He strives for perfection and his attention to detail is everything. His goal is to create a memorable experience for you and your guest. I want that “wow” factor for every event and have your guest taking those Instagram shots and have them talking about the food after your event. Food is everything and this is what we love to do!
He’s worked with some of the most talented chefs and has learned so much and now it’s time to put it into PRIKLY.
